Texas State Graduation | Ginny Carson

It is no secret that Texas State graduation sessions are my absolute favorite. Getting to meet and interact with some very bright graduates is always such a pleasure. Every single senior session I have done holds a very special place in my heart. This one, however, was extra special!

When Ginny reached out to me about her Texas State graduation session I was so excited!! I have known her for a little over a year now. Throughout this past year we have worked together a few times with her sorority and also some personal sessions. Overall, I have gotten to know her over the last year! All that to say, I was very honored to get to capture her Texas State graduation portraits as well!

She brought a few friends along to support her that day including another favorite senior of mine, Miss Ryanne! That week the weather had been very unpredictable so I am glad that we were able to make a day work for her! The cloudiness actually worked out in our favor to get those images at Old Main. One thing that was unfortunate was that the fountain was off that day; however, we were still able to capture her champagne pop there. I think those images turned out great despite the fountain being off! It was also one of the funniest moments when Ginny took a sip of champagne and was not pleased by the taste. You better believe I delivered that image to her for the memory!

Ginny, thank you so much for letting me capture some memories for you over the last year. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work with you and get to know you! I still remember the day I received your text about the photos you shared with your family and their reaction. Such a beautiful moment and reminder of why I do this! I wish you the best in your future and I do hope this is not the last time we will work together!
