Jaidyn’s mom booked this graduation session over one month in advance so I was very excited to finally get to meet this sweet family. They were visiting Texas so decided to have Jaidyn’s graduation session at Canyon Lake near their rental! Grandparents also came to town for her graduation so we added some family portraits to her session.
Jaidyn’s Graduation Session
Jaidyn was so sweet and easygoing! She made my job too easy! She mentioned that she hadn’t gotten professional photos done before but that was hard to believe with how well she posed! We captured a few shots of her at the top of Overlook Park with the pretty trees in the background. We proceeded to add some photos with Oliver who has been there with her every step of the way. Let me take this moment to say that dogs are 100% welcome at your graduation session! After we got some sweet photos with Oliver we took some family shots.
Extended family sessions are a favorite of mine! There is something special about being able to capture multiple generations in a family. It truly feels like such an honor to me. I know these images will be very special to Jaidyn when she looks back on them. Having multiple family members show up to your graduation session should make you feel very special!
Once we got the family photos out of the way we went down to the water. I just want to say how brave Jaidyn, her mom, and her sisters were to walk down the hill in heels! I guess we do anything for a beautiful background! Unfortunately, Overlook Park closes down earlier than the sun sets so we weren’t quite able to capture the actual sunset. We still got some wonderful shots of Jaidyn by the water though!
This was my first graduation session in Canyon Lake and I hope it won’t be my last because this location is stunning. To my Fall seniors and my high school seniors, make sure to book your sessions early! My Fall calendar is now open!
